This position is for a TRANSLATOR of an upcoming children’s educational product.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for translating the Chinese script to English.

2. Guarantee the accuracy and scientificity of the transcript of specific scientific terms.

Job Requirements:

1. Native English speaker with good reading skills in Chinese. Experience in translating from Chinese to English is preferred.

2. Knowledge of popular science, familiar with common scientific terms in Both Chinese and English.

3. Familiar with child-oriented language expression, children’s literature translation experience is preferred.

4. Conscientious and responsible, able to complete translation work on time and in quantity.

本岗位是对某儿童教育产品的内容进行翻译和本地化工作。

岗位职责：

1. 负责将给定的中文台本翻译成地道的英文；

2. 对于台本中的术语、科学类名词，应保证译文的科学性和准确性。

任职要求：

1. 母语为英语，且汉语阅读水平高，有汉译英经验优先。

2. 有一定的科普常识，熟悉常见科学术语的中英文。

3. 熟悉面向儿童的语言表达方式，有儿童文学类翻译经验优先。

4. 认真负责，能够按时按量完成翻译工作。
