I       Organize AKS basketball program , Basketball Coach Recruitment and Training of basketball coach

1. Identifies, recruits and trains a sufficient number of qualified team coaches

• Designs and administers an overall coach training program and respon­sible for coaches’ execution of AKSBasketball methodology
• Develops and implements a coach evaluation process that includes: written assessments, discussions and feedback, specific recommenda­tions for further training, and follow up
• Guide coaches in team-building issues with their individual teams and help coaches to handle disciplinary actions and communication with team manager and/or player’s parent(s)
• Actively search for training opportunities and support material to the coaches about updated coaching methods and drills supporting youth player development on different skill and age levels
• Performance review of all coaches once per season (Fall and Spring /) collecting feedback about coaches performance also from parents, other coaches and AKSIL committee members
• Ensure that all coaches commit and execute AKS and AKSIL philoso­phy and principles in all actions, planning and training.
• Manages coaching hours and salary for all full time and part time coaches

1. Provide basketball coaching and administer basketball training to AKS/AKSIL players when required and necessary forplayer Development.

• Assesses ongoing player development needs and issues with the team coaches for both AKSIL and AKS programs
• Manages all training schedules, competitive and recreational matches, tournaments, and camps relating to AKS/AKSIL basketball programs
• Develop holistic methodology for linking AKS toddler and develop­ment programs to AKS/AKSIL recreational and competitive programs
• Creates competitive player development plans and execution programs that follow AKS rules and guidelines as well as other best practices
• Develop and supervise the coaches’ implementation a player evaluation process that includes: written assessments (twice a year), award certifi­cates/feedback to players in end of the year and possible communica­tion case by case basis with the parent(s) during the season
• Prepare coaches for the tryouts and supervises the process ensuring the AKS/AKSIL policies are followed

• Program Administration
• Manages AKS Basketball Program Coordinators with the AKS General Manager for day to day office administration with AKS/AKSIL Basketball programs
• Reports problems and issues with AKSIL Committee, AKS Board, and AKS General Manager
• Participates in the meetings with ASKIL Committee meetings and SIYBL league captain meetings
• Participate the yearly/seasonal budget making of basketball program, Commits to
• Follow the budget agreed prior to the season, edit activity member quantity /nationality counting/school counting/parents company counting report/ Inventory report every month. Be In charge of part time coach attendance for Finance. Supervise purchase of basketball uniform and equipment.
• Works closely with the AKS office staff to maintain current files on teams, players and coaches
• Works with AKS administration and operations staff to maintain rela­tionships with outside vendors and venues
• Works with AKS administration, operations staff, coaches, and team managers to manage creation and distribution of player uniforms, kits, and equipment for all basketball programs
• Works closely with the AKS marketing staff and AKS General Manager in marketing efforts for the AKS/AKSIL Basketball programs

III       Education and Experience:

• University degree – minimum bachelor degree
• Fluent English both verbal and written – able to communicate with the parents,
• Chinese language skills: able to communicate with vendors, venue supervisors, parents and others necessary to execute the responsibilities of this job.
