Duli is a new plant-based restaurant in Shanghai located on the Donghu Road 38. Duli creates innovative bold tasting Chinese fusion dishes.

We are looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join us. As Assistant Restaurant Manager you are responsible for overseeing the efficient running and profitability of our restaurant and for managing our employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and oversee the entire restaurant operation
  • Recruiting,training and supervising staff
  • Agreeing and managing budgets
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Estimate consumption, forecast requirements and maintain inventory
  • Manage restaurant supplies
  • Control costs andminimize waste
  • Implementation of health and safety procedures
  • Making continuous improvements to the running of the business and developing the restaurant.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager,Restaurant General Manageror similar role
  • Customer oriented
  • Hardworking ethic
  • Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi task
  • Strong communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial abilities: independent, proactive, flexible, able to take on wider range of responsibilities
  • Ability to work flexible hours,including nights and weekends
  • Dependable and reliable
  • Solid understanding of the costs and margins of food and dishes
  • Fluent in English and Chinese
