Successful applicants must be native-English speaking expatriates residing in China.

Homeroom positions for the Early Childhood Division. Candidates must have a strong passion for working with young learners, hold early childhood training credentials, and previous experience is necessary. All teachers in the Early Childhood Division are expected to work in respectful collaboration with others on grade-level teams as well as others through the division.
 
For Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten positions, candidates must be able to clearly articulate early childhood pedagogy and practices that are research-based and current. A strong understanding of the necessary components of a typical day for young learners is expected.

For Kindergarten positions, experience in or a willingness to receive training in Reading & Writing Workshop prior to arrival at Concordia is expected. Kindergarten teachers also utilize the Bridges Math curriculum.

For the Elementary Classrooms, it is preferred that candidates for this opening either have Reading & Writing Workshop experience. Teachers integrate technology into their teaching. and the elementary uses the Bridges math program.

In order to meet Concordia student learning results (ESLRs) and grade level expectations, the teacher carries out the following broad and specific responsibilities across the following domains: Planning and Preparation, Classroom Management, Instruction, and Professional Responsibilities.
