Responsibilities

  • Greet patients on the telephone and in person
  • Hand off patient to the nurses/doctors in a caring manner
  • Respond to patient questions, concerns & complaints about dental/ortho treatment in person and via email
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments and recalls
  • Effectively & tactfully ask happy customers for patient referrals & testimonials
  • Build value for the practice & the doctors & for the appointment
  • Maintain an on-time schedule with little or no cancellations
  • Set up new patient charts
  • Check treatment cards and confirm that all appropriate information is included
  • Review charges with patient and collect payments effectively
  • Input patient data and charges into computer
  • End of day / End of month balancing
  • Create customized treatment plans for dental patients for insurance approval & follow up
  • Fill out insurance claims for patients
  • Follow through on overdue patient accounts
  • Assist in controlling inventory of front desk supplies (eg, business cards, brochures, consent forms, etc)
  • Participating in the company’s marketing events
    Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Native English & Mandarin in speaking, reading and writing
  • Multitasking
  • Computer, Telephone, Customer Service, Exception Human Relations Skills required
