About the role: 

• Use your extensive knowledge of at least one of the following Java/RUST/ JavaScript/ C programming languages to design and implement backend services (APIs, daemons, and web services).
• Architect and build software that helps IPFS users to address their different use cases and enable new ones.
• Collaborate with a team of senior engineers to build the infrastructure powerhouse of the decentralized world.
• Support and promote the IPFS ecosystem, with a front-row seat to major events in this exciting and rapidly growing ecosystem.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience
• At least four years’ backend engineering experience, blockchain development experience is a plus
• Strong in Core Java, Spring boot, Microservices, and Architecture
• Must have experience in exposing web services using JAX-WS/Rest(1to 2 years)
• Hands-on experience in Spring and Hibernate
• Good in SQL
• Experience in high and low-level design
• Experience on any Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)
• Strong communication and documentation skills as well as proven ability to work within an international  team
