AnyHelper, VisaOfChina and CIIC cooperated with Shanghai Exit-Entry Administration of Shanghai Public Security Bureau to provide an online live interpretation of Policies on Strengthening the Management of Foreigners’ Entry and Exit Services for enterprises and recruiters.

This is not the first time that officers of the Exit-Entry Administration have broadcast live online. On February 19, Shanghai Exit-Entry Administration of Shanghai Public Security Bureau held its first live online Q&A session, which was broadcast in both Chinese and English with SMG Media Center on the platforms of Kankannews and ShanghaiEye. It focused on six measures to strengthen the management of entry-exit service of foreigners in Shanghai during the epidemic, and focused on the access to entry-exit policy information, visa extension, urgent processing, and punishment on overdue residence and other 25 public concerns during the outbreak of coronavirus, attracting more than 10000 viewers to watch online. After the live broadcast, it was widely publicized through domestic and foreign media platforms, which had a good publicity effect.

Recently, with the gradual resumption of production and operation of enterprises and institutions, Shanghai Municipal Public Security Bureau launched 20 measures to support the normal and stable operation of service enterprises, and the National Immigration Administration launched 10 measures to help recover and serve the economy and people’s livelihood. After the policy was issued, more minor problems emerged in the practical application. In Shanghai, there are a large number of foreign enterprises, a large number of foreign employees, and a large number of foreign enterprise HR consulting needs. In response to the needs of enterprises, Shanghai Exit-Entry Administration continued the method, and opened a special online Q&A seminar for enterprises. The live broadcast lasted nearly 90 minutes, covering more than 1400 foreign enterprises in Shanghai, attracting nearly 2000 online viewers.
